Butterfly farm

Situated behind us is Stratford Butterfly Farm, it consists of a number of tropical greenhouses with countless free-flying butterflies. Other highlights include exotic birds as well as the fascinating Caterpillar Room, with its butterfly breeding programs. Perfect for a day out and Stratford’s Butterfly Farm is the largest and most comprehensive attraction of its type in Europe.

Royal Shakespeare Theatre

Directly opposite us is the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre home to the Royal Shakespeare Company. A trip to Stratford-upon-Avon wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the RSC which performs throughout the year at its riverside home. And, if you don’t want to take in a show, why not go on a tour, see the views from the tower, take a selfie in front of the iconic riverside building.

Shakespeare's Tomb, Holy Trinity Church

A stone’s throw from us, through an avenue of lime trees leads to the 13th-century parish Church of the Holy Trinity in which Shakespeare is buried.

Avon Boating

Avon Boating is a 30 second walk from us where you can enjoy the drama of travelling through the town’s historic working lock to Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and see the sights from a new perspective. Gain an insight into Shakespeare’s work, the river wildlife, the canal either on a river cruise or a private boat hire.
