The Embankments’ best-kept secret is without question its first-floor room, a delightfully contemporary space with views across the River Avon) works well for drinks receptions, dinners this space will transport guests to feeling like they’re out in the great outdoors, with its verdant foliage growing up from the ground and hanging from the walls helping to create an immediately calming atmosphere and small awards ceremonies.

The main bar area can host up to 140 guests for seated events, while standing receptions can have a guest list of up to 280 people. If you’re hiring out the main bar for your party or event, you also benefit from direct access to The Embankment Stratford’s expansive garden patio, as well as a dancefloor for evening functions that rumble on late into the night (Embankment can stay open until 2.30am on Fridays and Saturdays).

If you’re planning a more intimate occasion, you can instead opt to book out one of our garden domes. The unique area offers you a space away from the hustle and bustle but overlooks the recreation ground and the River Avon so that you don’t lose any of the venue’s atmosphere.
